My 29th Birthday!

To celebrate my 29th Birthday we spent the weekend in Orlando, Florida with Shawn and Andrea and meeting baby Caroline. It was a very relaxed weekend and exactly what I needed! We drove up to Orlando on Friday after work and had a great time watching the Virginia Tech vs. University of Virginia Game. I was pleased to see my Hokies win and beat the Cavaliers!

Saturday morning Shawn and Jonathan played golf while Andrea and I hung out with Caroline. We started to watch the football games at noon and spent the rest of the afternoon drinking beer, watching football, and eating good food! I even drank a diet coke for the first time in 2 months - an early birthday treat to myself! It was great to see Ohio State win over Michigan but Shawn was disappointed that Clemson beat the Gamecocks. I am looking forward to the Big 10 Championship game on Saturday!!

Jonathan and I were definitely excited to see Shawn and Andrea, and it was a long overdue trip. We were maybe even more excited to get the chance to meet Caroline Mae. She is super cute and it was a lot of fun spending the weekend with the 3 of them and of course Beans and Belle too!

Sunday afternoon we headed back to Fort Lauderdale and hit a bunch of traffic. I don't think I will travel on Thanksgiving weekend again any time in the near future. After making it back to Fort Lauderdale Jonathan's parents arrived in town. Along with Madeline we all went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner and then headed to the movie theater to see Mockingjay Part 1. It was the perfect way to spend my birthday evening.
