Wednesday Weekly Recap | June 10 - June 16

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I had an unexpected trip to Virginia this past weekend - so get ready for a bunch of pictures from my time there!

On Wednesday morning Jonathan headed to Virginia for work and a golf tournament. He had the opportunity to meet baby Emma, his cousin's 6-week old daughter. I was lucky enough to FaceTime with them - I got to see Emma Grace and they got to see Noodle!

Thursday, June 11, 2015

 

Thursday around 12:00 noon I found out that I would be traveling to Virginia on Friday for the weekend. After work I had to run to the Boca Town Center Mall, grab a few things then head home to pack. It was a very busy night and I didn't take a single picture all day.

I flew direct from Miami to Norfolk on Friday night. My flight was not until 9:10pm so I had some time to kill while i was at the airport. I spent my time before my flight listening to the Undisclosed Podcast Series and drinking beers at the airport bar!

Saturday morning I woke up and did a little shopping before heading to Ben and Shawn's house to meet Emma Grace. She is soooo cute and I was very excited to meet her before September, which was the first time I thought I'd meet her! I held her for a while and she even took a nap while we rocked in the chair!

 

Jonathan played in a Member-Guest golf tournament with Finn. Saturday afternoon we headed to the course to meet up with the guys to watch the shoot-out. While I would have loved to watch Finn and Jonathan play for the win - it was a lot of fun hanging out! After the tournament we went to Finn's dad/stepmom's house for dinner and drinks - David and April are awesome and we had a great time!

Sunday morning Finn was baptized - and afterwards we went to brunch. Being raised in the Catholic Church this was my first experience of baptism in a Baptist Church. It was a very neat experience and I was glad that I could be a part of it.

 

 

After brunch we headed to Sean and Allison's house to meet 3-day old Kellan! He was asleep the whole time we were there but it was awesome to meet another baby cousin! 

Monday, June 15, 2015 and Tuesday, June 16, 2015

Jonathan and I spent Monday and Tuesday night grilling out, watching Netfilx and relaxing. While we love spending time with family and friends, we also appreciate the time we have together to just sit home and relax!
