Wednesday Weekly Recap | Father's Day Edition

This week instead of the regular Weekly Recap I am going to focus on Father's Day 2015!

This Father's Day I celebrated these two - my dad Mark and my husband Jonathan. They are hands down the best dad's out there and need to be recognized!

When we went to bed on Saturday I told Jonathan not to set an alarm and we would figure out our plans whenever we woke up. I had a tentative game plan for celebrating him on this special day and it started at Dunkin Donuts! We got donuts, iced coffees and a breakfast sandwich - everything was awesome!

As Jonathan's Father's Day gift I wanted to get him a new golf bag and possibly a few other items. I knew that I couldn't pick out a golf bag on my own so our next stop was Edwin Watts Golf. We spent a bit over an hour in there and found a ton of great items. Jonathan walked away with a new golf bag, golf balls, a travel stiff arm club and I got new golf balls too!

After picking up the golf items Jonathan got a quick haircut and I walked around Homegoods and Hallmark. We headed home to make Bloody Mary's and spend some time at the pool. We love this Bloody Mary mix and really enjoyed these at the pool!

The temperatures in Fort Lauderdale have been topping the charts and reaching record highs this week. We only spent about an hour at the pool which was more than enough time to get some sun, enjoy our Bloody Mary's, and cool off in the pool!

After spending some time at the pool we headed to the golf course. Typically when we go golfing I only chip and putt, but today we decided I'd play my first full round of golf. It was a lot of fun playing a full round and I shot a 119 my first time out.

On the way home I asked Jonathan if he had a good Father's Day. He said that it was so awesome it was a Jonathan's Day - not just a Father's Day! I am sure it will be hard to top this one next year but I promise I'll try!
