It has been a couple of weeks since I have done a weekly recap so I wanted to give you a recap of everything that has been going on while I was taking a blogging break.

The weather has been beautiful lately, and I have been making it a point to take Noodle for a long walk outside of our neighborhood after work. It is usually pretty hot so I change into workout clothes, walk Noodle and then do my daily workout. I have been doing the videos from the 21-Day Fix, practicing yoga for a study I am participating in, or working out with my trainer.

I am very spoiled by my amazing husband! He brings me a bouquet of flowers ever week or so and this week he brought me beautiful pink roses. The day that he brought them home they were just starting to bloom, within 24-hours they were in full bloom and you could smell them throughout the kitchen and family room!

Jonathan and I will eventually move to Virginia - and find our Forever Home. I am constantly looking at Pinterest, home listings, and watching HGTV for ideas. I am not sure of the timeline for our move up North, but I started looking at houses and found this beautiful home. While it isn't in our budget and will likely not be available when we are ready to move I think that it has so many things that I would want - and I hope to find something this great (or better) when we are ready to move.

On Friday we had one of Jonathan's co-workers over for dinner for our pizza night. You can read the full details of Pizza Night on my Friday Favorites Post this week, but it was a great night and I really enjoyed a few (too many) glasses of Apothic Dark! I was definitely feeling it Saturday morning when I had to wake up for work!

Jonathan and I have a few gift cards to restaurants and decided on Saturday night to head to Sawgrass Mills and have dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and use one of our gift cards. Unfortunately after walking up to the restaurant, and determining that the wait was far too long we decided to go for sushi.

We found Koume Japanese Restaurant only a few minutes from Sawgrass and thought that we would check it out. We ended up having a great sushi dinner, with great conversation and a lot of laughs. It was definitely a lot better than our original plan.

 The Resort where I work has a wine and cheese reception for the Owners each week. During our renovation we are offering this 2 times a week. My boss wanted to change up the décor for these receptions so I told her I would make the decorations out of cork. Here is my first of many projects that I am working on!

My best friend's mom [Karen] also happens to be one of my favorite vendors that I work with. She owns Identity Marketing & Promotional and can do anything you would ever need. I came to know her company when Alisa was working there and I needed some printing/work done for my wedding [think programs | koozie | seating chart | welcome maps]. Since then I have had the opportunity to use her for a bunch of projects at work. I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to dinner with her at Casa Blanca Cafe while she is in town! I love this restaurant and always have a great time hanging out with Karen!
