Today I am linking-up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for another edition of Friday Favorites! I thought it would be fun to talk about some of my favorite places to be pampered in Fort Lauderdale. Let me know if I am missing any!!

JUSTair Blow Dry Bar | Before living in Fort Lauderdale I wasn't very familiar with blow dry bars. I had seen a few here and there but it wasn't something that I really paid much attention to. Two years ago I tried getting my first blow out at JUSTair and I loved it! I have had a great experience every time I have gone in, and I couldn't ask for anything more from the girls at JUSTair Fort Lauderdale! Check out their instagram account here to see what they are up to!

Aveda Institute | When I first moved to South Florida I had a terrible time finding someone to do my hair. As I was about 6 months away from getting married I drove to South Carolina to get my hair done and finalize wedding plans for those first 6 months. I tried a few different salons around the area but wasn't really impressed, especially for the cost. My friend suggested we try the Aveda Institute - and I love it! As students are doing your hair it can take a little longer than a traditional salon but with the assistance of the educators I have always walked away super happy! Check them out!

Nails Lux | If you are in Fort Lauderdale anywhere near downtown I would definitely recommend you checking out Nails Lux to get a manicure or pedicure. I stumbled upon this salon when I first visited Jonathan before I even moved down here. They do a great job and I love their wide variety of colors for both gel manicures and pedicures. Their prices are very competitive and the quality is top notch. I typically have my eyebrows waxed here as well and have always had a good experience.

Spa 66 | In first moving to Fort Lauderdale I lived across the street from the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six. For my birthday Jonathan bought me a spa gift certificate so that I could walk over and enjoy a day pampering myself. I had a great experience at Spa 66 for my birthday and again a few time since. I would definitely recommend checking out their many services and spending the day relaxing at the Hyatt!

Pure Spa | For our staycation this year we stayed at the Pelican Grand Resort in Fort Lauderdale. They are currently in the process of building a spa that is set to open this summer and I cannot wait to spend a long weekend there! Check out the progress and updates on the Pure Spa and I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts after they open!
I hope that you are able to go pamper yourself and have a great weekend!
