As seen in Port Columbus International Airport |
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and lived there until I went to college in 2004. While I absolutely love my family and friends, I do not think that I will ever live in Ohio again. There are some things that will always bring me back, and some things that will always keep me away...actually only one thing will keep me away... Winter.
My Ohio Loves
I love and miss my family - they are the most awesome people in the world and I don't know what I would do without them. This amazing looking group of people are one of the reasons I will always love Ohio. The Haemmerle Family is full of hilarious, loving, and entertaining people and I only wish I was able to see them more often. For anyone that has talked to me about sports ever, they will know that I love The Ohio State Buckeyes! I am soooo excited for them to be playing in the National Championship Game tonight! Go Bucks!! I was lucky to be able to head to Columbus in September to see the Hokies play Ohio State at The Shoe. It was awesome to see all of my college friends from Virginia Tech and was the only time I was okay no matter which team won!!
Another Ohio Favorite is CEDAR POINT. I have made it home to go to Cedar Point every year since 2004 except 1. To say that I am dedicated is a little bit of an understatement. For years I have been telling Jonathan that he had to come with me and experience the amazing roller coasters for himself. This year my cousin got married, and we planned a Cedar Point trip around the wedding weekend. Molly and Chris weren't able to make it, but Dad, Ann, Lindsey, Todd, Jonathan and I had the best time ever!
Stay tuned for next week's Where I've Lived - Blacksburg, Virginia!
