The night before our wedding we had a Welcome Party at the Harbour Town Yacht Club. It was a great time to get to see our Family and Friends before our big day. It was pouring down rain, but as long as it didn’t rain on my big day I was fine with it.
On Saturday, July 13, 2013 Jonathan and I were married on the Lawn of the 18th Green at Harbour Town. It had rained part of the day, and I was worried that we would have to go to our back-up plan and have our ceremony in the ballroom where our reception would be held. Fortunately, the skies cleared and there was no rain during our wedding ceremony. While our ceremony was not long in length, it was very full of love. Jonathan and I exchanged vows we wrote ourselves in front of our family and friends.
Our wedding party consisted of our sisters, Jonathan's dad, and our friends. It was an honor to have these amazing people stand by our sides as we promised to spend the rest of our lives together.
I know I may have a biased opinion – but we had the best wedding and reception ever! The countless hours I spent obsessing over the small details, and Jonathan dealing with my obsession was totally worth it. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our marriage and are so thankful for all of the people that were there to celebrate with us.
